The Bosch Universal Plus is an efficient, lightweight & powerful kitchen mixer. Originally designed for mixing and kneading bread dough, this kitchen appliance now can do so much more, from whipping as little as 1 egg white to mixing 10 pounds of potatoes. With additional attachments, it can become a blender, ice cream maker, meat grinder & slicer shredder.

Please note, there has not been any acutal change to the motor itself, it is the same powerful Bosch® motor that has been used for years and years inside the Universal Plus. The only change that has occurred is in the rating issued by UL.****
